I woke up in the bliss of what had turned out to be a four star hotel:

When I had shown up the night before, coming in from the darkness, out of my mind from exhaustion, the hotel staff had smiled and given me a special price. The hotel seemed much too nice for a guy like me:

I stayed as long as I could, then I got on the road for a short walk into the city. I found a little friend on the way:

And then Bojnurd appeared, the capital of North Khorasan:

As always in Iran, there were murals:

And then I was there.

Now I only needed to find a way to extend my visa.
