Another day of rain:

more rain in Bishkek

I decided to stay in.

Hung out in a cafeteria place that belonged to the hostel:

the cafeteria

Had lunch and dinner there:

lunch and dinner every day

Bishkek was out there. Kyrgyzstan was out there.

But I wasn’t hurried.

I had been to Kyrgyzstan before, in the late summer of 2014:

Kaji-Say on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul:

Tamga, not far from Kaji-Say:

Jeti Oguz, a sanatorium in the mountains:

Karakol, the “black hand” west of Issyk-Kul:

Cholpon-Ata on the northern shore:

Tokmok, the “hammer” a little east of Bishkek:

And finally a road trip that would take me to Arslanbob, Sary-Chelek, Song-Kul, Tash Rabat, Osh, and Chatyr Kol:

Somewhere behind all that rain, Kyrgyzstan was great.

So beautiful. May I ask what you use for the time-lapse photography?
