It was still raining. Drip, drip, drip, it went, drippity-drip-drip-drip.

I decided to venture downtown anyway. I wanted to find a place to get some work done.

On my way I walked past a car that hadย Chinese characters on the window:

They were upside down.

Downtown turned out to be grey:

This seemed to be mostly due to the weather though.

I found a cafรฉ that served pancakes:

Also, it had super-fast WiFi:

I stayed there for the whole day.

Then I went back to my room:

And later that night, when the world was dark and quiet and Bishkek had gone to sleep, I watched a documentary about Amy Winehouse.

It was sad.

Very sad.
