Schöne Sache! Endlich mal wieder ein schönes Stück Landschaft – da fühlt man sich sicher bestätigt, dass man auf dem "richtigen" Weg ist! Zumindest werden die müden Glieder so ein wenig entlohnt…
p.s. vielleicht war das nicht richtig rüber gekommen, das Video fand ich klasse – weitermachen!

Loos are a fascinating topic, and they never get the airtime they deserve in travel literature! So good that you are chipping in to set things straight! BTW, I read an article yesterday (prompted by the Myanmar disaster) that pointed out that sanitation is at least as important as clean water in keeping people healthy, but it is a lot less sexy, and so gets about 1/10 of the aid resources clean water does. So people die, essentially because of our esthetic prejudices (that is a strange thought isn't it? we find something ugly and unpleasant to discuss, and people die because of it).
Anyway, I hope to have an opportunity to share my own personal stories about the worst toilets I have seen (and exploring the USSR and China back in the very early 90s, I have really seen some! But I am concerned about the other readers of your site).
A related question: there used to be a big industry in China of collecting "night soil" from houses and carting it out to the countryside for use as fertilizer. You used to see a lot of people with hand-carts loaded with wooden buckets with lids on, and the lids were not really enough to keep the smell in, but I haven't seen any for a while now. You are visiting some out-of-the-way places, do you still meet them there?

Aber ist nicht der wahre Grund des "german Auffangbecken"s, das wir's doof finden, wenn uns das Wasser beim ungebremsten, hemmungslosen Eintritt der Exkremente in die Untiefen der Abwässer einfach nur eklig kalt an die Arschbacken sprizt???!!!-> soviel Luxus darf dann also wohl noch sein! (obwohl: das mit dem Saubermachen hinterher ist schon wahr!…hmm!?!)
Aber doch mal ehrlich: einzig essentieller "Mindest-Luxus" beim Abkacken ist ja wohl ein place to hide!!!

Aber mal ehrlich, da kenn ich Örtlichkeiten mitten in der EU, da würde ich mich nach so einem Etablissement sehnen. Aber auch dort lief`s, besser gesagt fiel`s.

das aller aller aller übelste war bei der Rumänische Staatsbahn. Da wollt ich nicht mal mehr urinieren. Generell der ganze ehemalige Ostblock ist in der Hinsicht prblematisch.
Aber wenn ich mir so manchen RE der DB nach einem Fussballspiel ansehe, auch da würde ich die chinesische Variante auch bevorzugen.
