Went to the city again today. It was a forty-minute train ride in the early morning. When I arrived at about eight am, it looked like the sun had left the day and was never going to come back again:

Hanover in December

I had not eaten, because I wanted to get my blood looked at. Remember when I had gotten a simple blood test six weeks earlier in Tbilisi? I wanted the same thing today, just more comprehensive.

And so a needle entered my arm:

And I watched my blood leave me, just like the sun had left the day.
