I don’t know if you remember, but there was this day almost ten years ago when I got a fortune cookie. I was still on my way through China, but I had come to Germany to sort out a visa thing, and I had somehow ended up with a fortune cookie in my hand. They didn’t have those things in China.

Anyway, I got two more today, and both seemed to have to do with my walk:

YOU ARE HEADING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION said one of them.

NEVER QUIT said the other.
