I had said everything I had wanted to say:

My application for an LOI, a Letter Of Invitation, from Turkmenistan was in the works, and all I could do at this point was hope that it would pass. Because no LOI meant no visa. Simple as that.

I was still feeling a bit under the weather, but in the afternoon Issyk-Kul helped me deal with it in a nice way by sending a bunch of fat rainclouds my way:


So I felt as though I wasn’t missing out on much by staying in my room.
